📍 February 2026 | Lausanne, Switzerland
From 3 to 5 February 2026, the INJECTHEAL project was represented at the MDDB Conference in Lausanne, Switzerland. During the poster session, our partners SUPSI presented their work, sharing key advances about their contribution to the project with the scientific community.
About the poster:
The poster showcased the development of advanced computational models designed to analyse and predict the mechanical behaviour of self-healing hydrogels based on oxidized pectin and gelatin — the core biomaterials behind INJECTHEAL’s innovative approach to chronic wound treatment.
The Team:
- Prof. Andrea Danani – Professor of Computational Science, Intelligent Control for Systems and Networks Area, Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence USI-SUPSI, Head of the Computational Biophysics Group
- Dr. Filip Stojeski – Post Doc researcher, Intelligent Control for Systems and Networks Area, Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence USI-SUPSI, member of the Computational Biophysics Group.
- Dr. Marcello Miceli – Post Doc researcher, Intelligent Control for Systems and Networks Area, Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence USI-SUPSI, member of the Computational Biophysics Group.
