On 17 June 2026, the Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Devices (CRMD) at the University of Brighton hosted the first Dissemination Event of the INJECTHEAL project, held in the framework of the Tissue & Cell Engineering Society (TCES) Conference.
The event brought together scientific partners, researchers, healthcare professionals and stakeholders from the biomedical sector to discuss advanced solutions in wound care.
What made this day especially meaningful was the contribution of the Lindsay Leg Club Foundation, which, through the voices and experiences of patients and nurses, reminded us the aim of our research: to develop innovations that can make a real difference in people’s lives.

The Brighton meetings continued on 18 and 19 June with the INJECTHEAL 2nd Consortium Meeting, during which all partners discussed their latest achievements, ongoing challenges, and next steps, and planned future activities and experiments to advance the project’s goals.
